| Starting on November 5th, 2009, Coach Paul Rouse will lead indoor training sessions every Thursday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 pm. These workouts will be held at Neo Limits Fitness, which is located at 51 East Spring Valley Rd, Centerville, OH 45458.
As part of their sponsorship, Neo Limits allows us access to their Spinning room so we can provide indoor training to the Team from November through February. This training is provided free of charge to all Team Dayton members. You do not have to be a Neo Limits member to participate.
These workouts will include aerobic endurance, muscular strength and endurance, power, and speed elements. Workout intensity is moderate in November and gradually progress in difficulty as we continue through February. Even if you continue to ride outdoors during the winter months, I encourage you to do at least one of these workouts each week to help build all elements of your fitness and skills.
To participate you will need to bring your own bicycle and a training stand with resistance unit (no rollers please). Also bring a riser block to level your bike and keep the front wheel in place. Bring plenty of water, a towel to cover your handlebars during the workout, and a heart rate monitor. If you don't have a heart rate monitor and are wondering what kind to get just contact Paul.
We have access to the Spinning room after 5 pm so please arrive early enough to set up your equipment and be ready to start the training session at 6 pm. Contact Paul with questions. |
